This summer has been filled with weddings, so in holding with tradition, we had the third wedding in as many months!
My cousin Jeremy married his fiance, Taylor on August 20 at my grandma's house here in Boise.
It was a fun evening with family!
(Disclaimer: For some reason, a bunch of these pictures loaded sideways and I'm not sure how to fix them - grrr!)
So enjoy a few highlights from the wedding and reception!
Here comes the bride!
Grandma's yard always looks nice, but it looked extra pretty with all the twinkle lights they hung in the trees and wrapped around the fence posts. Jeremy and Taylor's colors were John Deere green and yellow and it was western themed.
From left to right: Jenny (Jeremy's grandma on his Dad's side - Jeremy's mom is my mom's youngest sister), Grandma Jack (our grandma), Taylor, Jeremy, Aunt Joni, Uncle Jay.
Here's Jeremy and his brother Jason. Jeremy is a few months younger than me, and Jason is a few months younger than Malia. They're quite the pair! :)
Here's the blushing bride!
The yard was all covered in green and yellow decor and it looked so cool!
Nani and I had to scope out the dessert table! Mmmm....
Time for a family picture. Doesn't David look excited?
At the end of the reception Jeremy and Taylor had a dance, but sadly, there weren't many people who took advantage of having a dj available and fun music to dance to. Don't worry, though, Nani, Mom, and I let loose and danced up a storm! :) Actually we were a little un-official, so maybe it doesn't count. There were a few people over on the designated dance floor, but the three of us just danced in the yard (which was right by the dance floor) as we put up chairs and started cleaning up.
But that was seriously one of my favorite parts of the night. We were making up moves never seen before - and probably never again! :D It was awesome!!
How do you like Grandma's socks? Once the main festivities were over she "slipped into something a little more comfortable" shoe wise. ;)
And last but not least, this is Mom with all her siblings and their mom.
Left to right: Judy, Joni, Grandma (Janell), Jana, and Janis (aka, Etau). They have a thing for "J" names.
So a re-cap of weddings this summer:
June - Ian and Riley (Dad's side)
July - Heidi and Bryce (best friends)
August- Jeremy and Taylor (Mom's side)
Nothing for September that I'm aware of, but who knows! :)
