Ok, so it's been a while since I've posted anything, but not because there's nothing to tell about, but because we've been so busy! So here's a bit of a re-cap of what's been going on the last few weeks. Of course we're still busy with dance, David started playing football for Capital High, I've been babysitting for a lady in our ward 2-4 times a week (depending on her work schedule), Malia's horse riding group Eh Capa has just finished up for the season, Nani is in the choir at Fairmont, and we just had our ward's annual Pinewood Derby- in which our little, pink, pig car at least managed to come in the top twenty (out of twenty-six)!! :)
At the end of August IDI got to go perform in Baker City, OR for their Highland Games. We went on Friday afternoon and danced that night, then performed several times throughout the day on Saturday. It was so much fun and we're looking forward to going back next year!
After the performance (and the tasty dinner they fed us after the show) we went outside to see where we would be dancing the next day. Of course we had some fun testing out the stage!

Check out those awesome Irish Wolfhounds! The owners brought the dogs over to where our group was sitting and we all got to pet them. They're HUGE!! One of them kept trying to sit on my lap while I was petting him. :)

These guys are such awesome dancers, and were going strong even after all the performing they did.

Can you even tell that they've been dancing all day!

Once all the performing was done, we all ended up getting a tasty lemonade thanks to some fabulous people! So we took them over to the misting tent that we'd sort of ended up claiming as the IDI tent. It was nice just to sit and relax for a minute.
