The Boys Are Back in Town

It's official! Look who's coming to the Nampa Civic Center on February 25 at 7:00!!!
That's right, The Standards are coming back to Idaho (they live in Nashville at present) and they will be performing in several cities - p.s. Elena, they'll be in Rexburg on the 24th. :)
Anyway, if you live anywhere close around here, then the NCC is the place to be on the 25th. They put on really fun performances that the whole family can appreciate - I mean, would I love it if it was any other way?!
But if you don't make it to the show, don't worry, I'm sure I'll tell you all about it afterwords. :)
(And no, I was not paid, nor do I receive any royalties for promoting this show. I'm just a little excited! :)

 - In other news... I had a new experience of what it's like to go clothes shopping with a guy. David needed some jeans and since he went to Winco with me (have I ever mentioned that that store gets on my nerves for some reason?) I went to the mall - on a Saturday (also, not a store that I love to spend lots of time in...I'm a TERRIBLE shopper) with him.
But let me tell you, if you don't like spending lots of time out shopping, go with a guy. I was gearing myself up for hours of mindless wandering through the overly crowded halls of the mall. But no, we tried one store - fail. So we headed to JC Penney and he walked in, grabbed two different pairs of jeans, tried them on and liked one better than the other...so he bought it. That was easy!
He did want to try on a button up shirt, so he just stood next to the rack it was hanging on and slipped it on over his t-shirt. You know how it's "cool" for clothes to be on the small size? Well, he thought he would be able to avoid that by trying on a large, but even that was too tight. As he nearly broke a sweat trying to get his arms back out of the sleeves he exclaimed in his spastic frustration, "Is this the boy's section?!!" As opposed to the "man section", I guess.
I was cracking up already, but started laughing even harder when some poor lady who was there with her husband, cautiously looked over her shoulder to see where the angsty complaint was coming from. Of course, that only made David laugh and be even crazier as he wrestled to get the shirt off.
Even so, he ended up buying the next size up and we were out of there before the usual shopping migraine even had time to set in.
If only I could shop like that.....

All right, are all those Standard guys married? If not, you need to hook yourself up and get a date! :)
