What a day!

So right now it feels good just to be sitting here at the computer, not doing much of anything. Yesterday was a different story, though. We started off our morning nice and early (and yeah, to some of you it won't seem that early) by getting up and ready to be at the church by 9:30 for a stake women's conference. We heard from three really good speakers, followed up by our stake president. Then everyone stayed for a fun little lunch of sandwiches on rolls. Mom, Kelani, Malia, and I stayed as long as we could to help with clean-up, but had to leave around 1:00.

Mom and I scrambled to get all our things together to make it to NNU in Nampa for our clogging competition. We had four team dances throughout the afternoon, and despite the nerves and stress, we had a fun time!

We finished up there around 5:00 then headed over to our friend's house and hung out until about 6:45ish when we all made our way to a church to perform Irish at a High Priest dinner. That performance was really fun, too. By the time we got home it was late, and we were ready to get in bed and not move for a long time! But we went to bed feeling good about all the great things we'd been able to do in one day. These costumes made a debut with our new dance, "Cup of Life", a sassy little, Latin type dance. We were so nervous, especially since it was only the second time that some of us had ever performed it, and a first for Mom! And of course, it ended up being our last dance of the day (not to mention, the whole competition), and I think most of us will agree, one of the most fun!
