We made it!

We stayed in a little rented house that was right next to the beach. That's a view from our backyard. It was about a five minute walk down a fun little pathed hill. We got there around 8:00 in the evening, but it was still light enough to see the ocean. It was awesome!

Of course, as is custom in our family (mostly among the kids), we tend to be just as excited to be staying somewhere that has cable tv as we are that we're on vacation. So that's usually what the trip starts out with!

So here's Malia and David watching tv while Mom, Dad, and Grandma drove down to the spot where the three would be fishing the next morning. We stayed at the house and waited for our pizza to get there. Nani and I walked outside to look at the ocean for a while.
