One of the last things we did that day was walk down a little board walk to see these sea lions. We'd heard them earlier that day, so we wanted to see them. They're wild, but they just came in and camped out on that dock where they were all huddled together. I don't think you can see it in the picture, but there was a starfish on one of the posts in the background. A group of people had come over to see the sea lions, too. But one little girl in the group didn't seem to notice them because as soon as they got closer she yelled, "A starfish!" Who knows if she ever saw the sea lions.
